Come to the Centenary Birthday party

Birthday Party 30 September 12noon -5pm

The school traditionally celebrates its birthday on Michaelmas Day and in September 2017 it's a special one!  The school will mark the occasion in its usual joyful way on Friday 29 September with services at St Dionis and fun and games after. But on the next day...

On Saturday 30 September 12-5pm you're invited to join parents, grandparents and past parents at the school Centenary Birthday Party. The perfect opportunity to meet former classmates for lunch, tea, enjoy a celebratory drink, see how much of the school you can still recognise by taking a guided tour and view exhibitions of past events and people and movies of the school's history. On arrival you'll be issued with a lanyard which will identify the decade you attended school, making contemporaries easy to spot!  You're  invited to bring artifacts from your time at school – class pictures, school reports, formal form photographs – and if you wish wear the school blazer that's been in the wardrobe all these years! You will have the opportunity to be interviewed and record your experiences of life at school. There are plans for a netball tournament too. At 3pm you can see the group that deposits a time capsule in the Centenary Garden.
